Prayer amidst the Day

This is part of the resourcing for members of the University to pray in and amongst work. Prayer amidst the Day is based on the prayer that Jesus taught which has become known as the Lord’s Prayer. In using it we are emulating Christians in the early centuries of Christian faith who prayed the Lord’s prayer three times a day; morning, noon and night.

In time it is hoped that this resource will expand to provide some variety. At present we have guide to short prayer-times in the workplace (or nearby); one for prayer in the midst of the working day, a couple for use at the end of a working day.

There are, in addition, a number of online prayer and meditation sites. For an introduction and links to some of the best go here.

Other resources on praying the Lord’s Prayer, take them at your leisure.
